OUR DREAM

This is our dream, our hearts cry, to become GOD'S KIND OF CHURCH!

We have a dream of a Church...

Where people don’t just receive grace, but practice it.

Where those who come in feeling condemned, get accepted; of a church where the fallen are restored, where the hurting are healed, and the lost are saved.

Where the love of God in people’s hearts is so strong that gossip & backbiting is rejected; and people are talked up and not talked down, and where unity is more important than winning an argument.

Where everyone counts; where everyone is appreciated; where everyone is valued - not because of who they are down here, but because of who they are up there.

Where people are welcomed regardless of what they have done; where prodigals are received with open arms, and not with religious judgementalism.

Where Christ is loved, honoured and worshipped in spirit and in truth; where the only bystanders in times of worship are those who don’t yet know the Lord.

Where community is not considered in rows of people, but in selfless sacrifice, of laying down lives for each other.

Where the young can function in leadership and not just be nice for the elderly to look at, but where young people in early age sense a destiny, and become part of the church as much as anyone else.

Where the leaders serve with humility, and not because of ego, status or position.

Where people who are single, divorced, widowed or orphaned, feel secure and as much a part of the family as anybody else.

Where the people come to the meetings not when it suits them, but when it suits Him.

Where the weight of the work doesn’t rest on a few, but where everybody shares the load and plays their part in reaching the world.

Where those who are called to go, go, and those who are called to stay, support them in their going.

Where everybody considers the other better than themselves.

Where everything that is done is done with passion & excellence, and where lost souls are our top priority.

Where women are allowed to reach their full potential in Christ, and not be held back simply because of their gender.

Where the Holy Spirit gets excited about being present, and is free to do whatever he wants to do.

Where people come to Christ every week, and needs are met by the Risen Lord!

Where every member gets excited with the thrill and the buzz of destiny, and gives 100% to the will of God while they still have breath in their body.

Where the Bible is preached and loved and obeyed, and where the sound of our Amen’s cannot any longer be restrained.

Where the first priority of the people is not what they can get, but what can they give, and where love is not merely with words, but with deeds.

Where even our enemies have to respect us and admire us.

WE HAVE A DREAM OF BEING GOD’S KIND OF CHURCH

Is it possible…  is it possible on this planet to have a church like that?

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

OUR BELIEFS

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and unchanging Word of God.

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, eternal, holy, loving and just.

We believe that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God who lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place and rose from the dead in power and victory.

We believe that everyone who believes should be baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit whose power enables us to live according to God’s will. The gifts of the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues, still exist today.

We believe that sin has separated us from God and that all of creation is affected by its consequences.

We believe that anyone who repents of their sins and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, receives total forgiveness and eternal life.

We believe that the Church is God’s chosen instrument to bless the world and that the corporate gathering of believers is essential.

We believe that every Christian is called to worship God and equipped to serve His purpose both in the Church and in the community.

We believe that God can transform lives through healing and deliverance and that by being blessed we also bless others.

We believe that heaven and hell are real places and that our eternal destiny is determined by personal response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return in power, majesty and glory, just as He promised.
