The Christmas meal this year was enjoyed at the elephant and castle hotel in Newtown.

The theme was ‘Mad Christmessy Hair Hat’ – as you can kind of guess by looking at the photos!

As well as enjoying a three course meal, we were split into two teams, ‘Guys’ and ‘Gals’ who went head to head with a few games to battle it out for a box of quality streets! The ‘Gals’ won!

This year we went to North Somerset for XL Camp – “UNCONTROLLABLE”!

During the week we talked about how we are UNCONTROLLABLLY loved by God and how we can show and share that love with others.

We had loads of fun, especially in the team competitions: we made shelters in the forest, hunted down the ‘MOOCOW’, battled it out with a giant water fight and buried and hunted for water balloons on Weston Super Mare Beach. The competition was fierce!!!

We even went in the sea at Weston-Super-Mare , which surprisingly was quite warm!! ...and the winning team got to spend their prize money in Bristol, as we hit the shops on the way home!
