Little Ark

Little Ark is a weekly parent and toddler group, providing the opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to meet and chat over coffee whilst the children get a chance to play and spend time together.

When?

Every Thursday during school term time from 9.30 - 11.30 am

Where?

The sports hall and lounge area of Hope Community Church, accessible through the double doors, directly off the main car park.

Cost?

• First child (over 1 yr): £1.50
• Additional children: £1.00 each
• Babies (under 1 yr): £1.00.

The charge covers tea / coffee and the childrens’ snacks.

How to join

Currently there is a waiting list for attendance at Little Ark, please contact us to apply for a place.

Format, facilities & further information

The session includes opportunities for free play, craft, story time, singing and dancing, and a morning snack time, finishing with tidy-up time and action songs.

There is a craft table where the children make seasonal pictures and other items, a book corner with comfortable cushions, a playhouse and a large selection of toys.

A separate area is used for ride on toys and ball games, and an adjoining lounge area is available for parents with babies who need a quieter space.

Baby changing facilities are also available.

All our volunteer staff at Little Ark are CRB checked.
