Bethshan is a 40-bed nursing home catering for the frail & elderly as well as those suffering with dementia conditions including Alzheimer’s.
Situated on land next to the church site on Dolfor road, it was opened in 2001 following five years of planning and fundraising.
Bethshan was built as a result of the vision of the church, who took up the challenge of providing Newtown with its only Nursing Home.
Our vision was to create a place where the frail and elderly could be cared for with love, dignity and excellence in an environment that is grounded in Christian principles, as well as being open to all regardless of their personal faith.
“Bethshan” means “House of Security” and our goal is for every resident to experience a sense of peace and security, to be a blessing to both them and their families.
