The heart of “Hope Church” is to take the exciting news of the Christian Gospel and demonstrate its relevance and power to those who have not yet experienced it. Our aim is to show the love of God in practical ways and give people a visible expression of the Christian faith in action through our service of others.

“Hope Church” provides the only free “Pregnancy Crisis” service in the County. The Church also provides Money Management courses and Street Pastors in the town centre at weekends. Ten years ago we opened the only Care Home in Newtown (Bethshan) and became one of the town’s largest employers.

“Hope Church” is also well-known for its provision of free meals on Christmas Day for the past 20 years to those who are alone or house-bound. In recent years this has meant around 100 people having a visit and a hot lunch and tea on Christmas Day
